Knol is the one more product from Google but hardly got any attention from the users. Google itself define it as ‘Knol launched in 2007 as a method for authors to work together to create authoritative articles about specific topics that they know about.’ It was designed to create a content based website but couldn’t able to fetch the love of Google users. But it seems Google not gonna pay much attention to it, cause it is in beta stage and still Google want to shut it down. Though it was not popular knol is extensively used by bloggers across the planet earth. Whatever it may be reason but knol is retiring now. i just got a mail from Google and thought it is worth sharing on my blog. Still it is online and one can download there content from knol easily.
